‘Digits’ - One of the standout tracks on the new album, Digits has an undeniable groove, 4x4 beats offset against pulsing keys and wah-wah guitars, all pinned together with one of those unmistakeable Flevans basslines. Winner!
Taking things down just a bit but still keeping that same propulsive groove, the second track here is ‘We Walk Alone’, centred around around staccato guitars, vocal elements and sparse bass hooks, it’s another immersive and soulful moment from the new LP.
