Late 2022 saw Flevans release his last LP 'A Short Distance To Fall' – The mainly instrumental LP was critically acclaimed and garnered repeat radio plays in the UK from the likes of Steve Lamacq, Gilles Peterson, Craig Charles and The Blessed Madonna.
December 2023 saw the release of the beautiful and melancholy ‘Wild Shadows’ the first taster from the new album 'Stand Tall' due for a June 2024 release on Jalapeno Records. The single picked up both further daytime and specialist BBC 6 Music support.
‘Where I Hide’ and ‘Carry Them’ followed, showcasing Flevans’ knack for crafting a dance floor hit and picking up support from Fatboy Slim amongst other luminaries.
Now, hot on the heels of ‘Carry Them’, Flevans ventures full into Disco territory with brand new track ‘Dreamer’ - Authentic soul drenched 70’s Disco instrumentation envelops a repurposed vocal sample to create a track which sounds both contemporary and gloriously retro all at the same time.
One for both dance floors and kicking back to on a sunny afternoon, it’s another uplifting taster of what’s to come on Flevans’ new album in June.
